For the last three years our family has had
a big cookout for Veteran's Day. This was the
biggest so far!! We had 131 people attend this
year!! We had family, friends and new friends
and friends we hadn't even met yet!! (they came
with our already friends!!)
We truly had fun, food and fellowship!!
Our church family rallied around us to make it all
happend. Getting the property set-up...helping with
food...helping with break down...it was awesome!!
Thanks to all those who helped make it happen!!
Oh, and we also got a visit from "Dolly the horse" who
graciously allowed all the children to take a ride
around our property!! Thank you, Mr. Sykes and Dolly!!
We praise the Lord for a glorious evening!!!
Annie, Granny and friends!! (sounds like a t.v. show!!)

I just found your site--your get together looks fun! Praise the Lord! I don't know where you all are from, but it must be South because here in WA state it was COLD and rainy yesterday!(-: Would have been a sad picnic here, but it is fun looking at yours!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Thanks so much for hosting, I know y'all put a lot of hard work into it! It was a blast! :D
ReplyDelete...that reminded me of the Gator party, it literally was a "blast". Hehe! ;)
See ya soon!!
Love,
Mandy
We had a great time together! Dolly the horse was definitely a hit with our younger children!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your Southern hospitality. The tribute to those in uniform was wonderful.
God bless you all!
