I'm Cancer Free!!!!!

This is the best update I could ever expect to give you all...
We went to the doctor today for my 2 week checkup...Praise the
Lord...I got all the staples out and the catheter...yeah!!!!!!
After all that was done, the doctor came in with all the reports
from the pathologist...He said that everything looks great. No
need for radiation or chemo...we got it all!!!! I started to cry.
I was totally prepared for him to say that I would need to do some
thing...just because...and here he is telling me that there is no
need...it is all gone!!! It can only be God.
I want to thank you, Lord Jesus, for seeing me and my precious family
thru this time...we couldn't have done it without you. Why do I ever
doubt you? Why can't I just always rest in you? Thank you for loving
me and caring for me inspite of my weaknesses. I feel like such a
failure to you when I doubt what you are doing in and thru my life.
I am so sorry for doubting you. BUT, I am soooo grateful for the
results that you gave us today. I feel as if I have a new lease on
life. It is kind of like a new birth...again!!! Thank you for my
family who have stood beside me and loved me thru all of this. Thank
you for all the precious believers who have placed themselves in the
battle for us thru prayers and love and giving of themselves. The meals
and cards and calls have been all so precious to us. We are sooo grateful.
Thank you most of all for being our Lord. I can't imagine having to have
taken this walk without you. You have truly sustained me. Thank you, Lord
Jesus, Thank you.
God bless all of you who have been praying for us. You don't know how much
all those prayers have meant to us. We are eternally grateful.
Where do we go from here? Well...I have to go for another checkup in 6 weeks.
Then I will have to go every 3 months for 1 year...then every 4 months for
2 years...you get the picture for up to 5 years. It really doesn't matter...
I'll be alive to do it!!!!
Once again...thank you all for your prayers, love and giving of yourselves to
our family. We love all of you!!! Give us a call, we'd love to hear from
you. Whenever you think of our family...please send up a prayer of thanksgiving
for God's goodness and mercy!!!!
God Bless you and yours...we love you!!!!
